Having acquired the 80+ acre site in 2021 – and subsequently partnering with the promotor arm of a National Housebuilder with a controlling interest in adjoining land – Rurban Estates have supported in securing a Resolution to Grant planning for 340 homes with complimenting onsite local retail convenience and community building.

The proposals provide a landscape-led scheme as a phased extension to a recently completed adjoining development. Enhanced active travel connections are provided to bolster sustainable connectivity with the existing settlement edge. The site has been simultaneously promoted through Rother DC’s emerging Local Plan consultations and benefits a Draft Allocation in conjunction with the Resolution to Grant Outline planning.
