Local Plan Promotion: Draft Allocation

Identified and acquired Unconditionally in 2025, the cross-boundary site is being promoted through both Hastings BC and Rother DC’s emerging Local Plan consultations. Situated on the edge of, and predominantly within the High Weald National landscape, emerging proposals provide for a sensitive landscape-led response which will conserve and enhance the setting, whilst maximising the potential housing delivery numbers at this sustainably situated site to provide for both market housing and affordable rental tenures.

Subsequent to detailed representations submitted to both Hastings BC and Rother DC as part of the emerging Local Plan consultations, draft allocations have been secured for the respective elements of the site within each authority.
