Planning Application Submitted – Rother DC

Rurban Estates, in collaboration with Catesby Estates, has submitted an Outline planning application for 335 residential dwellings including affordable housing to Rother DC. The proposals provide for a sustainably situated extension as part of the proposed North Bexhill expansion area.

This application has been prepared following substantial Pre-Application discussions with the Local Authority and East Sussex County Council in addition to undertaking public consultation with local residents and through a thorough analysis of the site’s opportunities and constraints.

Strong emphasis is placed on green and blue infrastructure, public open space, and walkable connections, creating attractive and inclusive environments for both new and existing residents.

The development would make a valuable contribution towards market and affordable housing land supply in the district. Alongside housing it will also deliver significant environmental, social and economic benefits.
