Draft Allocations Secured, Rother District Council

Rurban Estates has secured draft allocations across six sites in which it has an interest within Rother District Council, East Sussex. Collectively, these draft allocations provide for in excess of 1,000 new homes across the district together with supporting infrastructure.

The Local Plan sets out a long-term blueprint for how Rother may develop and change up to 2042, identifying where new homes, jobs, facilities, and infrastructure will be delivered while protecting valued landscapes, heritage assets, and local character.

In response to increased national housing requirements, the draft Local Plan provides for 8,427 new homes up to 2042. Rurban Estates looks forward to continuing to work collaboratively with partners and local and national stakeholders to help refine and progress these proposals.
